I'm such a late critic.

I was on pins and needles the entire night of this thing's expected release. I watched it about three minutes after it was released (lucky me, I just happened to refresh the portal.), but I can honestly say that this episode was completely worth an extra week and an all-nighter. The moves were fucking intense, every corner kept me on the edge of my seat, the cinematics were so fresh and awesome, and is that the same building that was in Madness Avenger? I see a similarity in that first room!

I'm not on the whole "review" scene often any more, and couldn't get around to reviewing it after I watched it, (crashing on your desk usually doesn't allow for that.), but after that performance, I suggest you kick back, crack a beer and play some Team Fortress, because you've completely earned it.

Wow.

I've been going through a bit of a reviewing hiatus lately, but what better animation to break it then this one?

The animation was really good. Nice, solid physics, and they took on almost a ragdoll effect after dying. I really liked that. The weapons were awesome, and I even got a good laugh, when the guy tried to wall jump and had his head blown in towards the beginning. The only discreptancy i have with this is it's gore factor. When someone was hit, the blood seemed kind of stringy across the walls. The blood splatters that came directly from the bodies were a little weak, and at times, made the impression that it was dust coming out of the wounds. If you do another one of these, I want to see some insane gore. Oh, and add some gunsounds next time.

Anyway, enough critisizm. That was a kick in the ass, well done. Make more of these, and I could seriously see it becoming really popular.

Wow/Meh.

You've got some animation skill going for you. If it takes as long as you say it will, it'll no doubt be better when it comes out. Good luck on the project.

On the flip-side, I could see portal being used in madness, but animating madness as a parody is one thing, but putting a parody IN a parody is a little bit tiring. It's not that it isn't an interesting idea, it's just way too unoriginal.

Just be sure to credit Valve as well as krinkels, as the idea was just as much theirs as it was yours.

Methlodis responds:

Thanks for the reveiw, but there is one of two things, I did put both their works and credit tribute in the credits in the replay area. Second and the more conveluted, is that yes everyone had the crazy idea of mixing the two concepts, but no one has had the guts to actually do this, theregore this is such un unoriginal concept its original! Cheers!

I was wondering when this was going to be out.

The Awesome Rising skit may have been the funniest thing i've ever seen in a Flash Movie. Kickass.

Quite a performance.

I applaud you. The idea was fresh, and I loved how you tied it into the original Madness Series. I do, however, have an issue on the slack-jawed job you did with the details. I'm sure you've heard it enough to hire a hitman on everyone who's said it, but come on, feet? Hands? Guys in the bar just froze? A guy got punctured in the back of the head by a bottle, and it vanished, no blood or anything. Hands stuck while other parts fell, and I have to say, the end was a little sad, but I can give you that because, obviously, it had to tie in with Apotheosis. All-around, the animation (From what was fully animated that is) was amazing, but dude, the slacking's got to stop.
Sorry, I'm a harsh critic. Anyway, I fucking loved the beginning. The music tied in so well, and The two smiths gave me a good chuckle. You really know how to build up suspense.

Overall, 4/5. Very impressive.

Heh, I lol'd.

For everyone below me, cool off. He did this as a joke, not to piss everyone off. (Well then again, what do I know?)

Either way, I lol'd.

It's crazy no one thought of this before.

That was, however, one hot-ass flash. Cardboard box? Metal gear solid? I lol'd.

5'd. Epic work.

i'm a mod on the mcnet forums and that makes me cool :twisted:
